Methods 70 patients with mesengial proliferative glomerulonephritis were randomly divided into two groups, in treatment group the patients were treated with Carthamus tinctoris injection and routine therapy, while in control group were treated with routine therapy, the couse was 4 weeks.

结果：治疗组总有效率为89.66%，明显优于对照组78.85%(P.05)；治疗组在减轻血尿、蛋白尿，改善肾功能和高凝状态方面明显优于对照组(P.05)。
