Through one week field work and laboratory classification and identification, the species of the periphyton community in the water are examined.

Tilapia is the dominant species in most lakes of South China, and its food includes phytoplankton in open water habitats and periphyton in substrate-surface habitats.

The main conclusions were summarized as follows,(1)Filamentous periphyton in the wastewater treatment system showed nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency,and the average removal rates of NH_4~+-N,NO_3~--N,TN,PO_4~(3-)P and TP reached 60.5%, 52.4%,68.4%,71.9%and 74.0%,respectively.

研究结果主要体现在以下几方面：(1)丝状周丛藻类对水体中的氮、磷均具有显著的去除效果，对NH_4~+-N、NO_3~--N、TN、PO_4~(3-)-P和TP的平均去除率分别达60.5%、52.4%、68.4%、71.9%和74.0%。

It suggests that periphyton might be nitrogen limited in the lagoon.O2 evolution is obviously a better method to determine in situ primary productivity of periphyton. It is safer and cheaper than 14C method.

综合看来，溶氧法是较好的方法，因其可短时间内野外於直接测得附生藻类的生产力的变化，又有低危险性与低成本的优点。

As a key component of aquatic ecosystems,periphyton can absorb nitrogen and phosphorus contaminants,maintain matter metabolism and ecosystem balance in waters.Meantime,for its natural ability,namely, attaching on substrates and being harvested easly,it has become the research focus in recent decades.

周丛藻类作为水生生态系统的一个重要组成部分，能够吸收水体中大量的氮、磷污染物，维持水体的物质代谢和生态平衡；同时，因其自然的附着特性，易于收获，已经成为近几十年来的研究热点。

But unicellular periphyton just had significant removal effect on NH_4~+-N and TN,the average removal rates were respectively 32.0%and 46.6%,while the removal rate of TP was relatively low(30.9%).

颗粒态周丛藻类仅对水体NH_4~+-N、TN的去除效果较明显，平均去除率分别可达46.6%和32.0%，而对磷污染物的去除率相对较低，TP平均去除率为30.9%。

The results showed that the species number of periphyton was the greatest in summer and the density of dominant species was the highest in summer and autumn, and the water quality was generally consistent with the tendency of the changes both in the indices of diversity and evenness. There were significant negative correlations between the contents of N and P in water, and the indices of diversity, evenness, algae density, total biomass, while CODcr and BOD5 did not show any significant relationship with these four biological indices.

研究结果显示，着生生物种类数以夏季最多，优势种密度以夏、秋季最大，多样性指数、均匀度指数的变化趋势与水质指标的监测结果基本一致；经相关性分析表明：水体中氮、磷含量分别与生物多样性指数、均匀度指数、藻类密度和总生物量四项指标呈显著负相关， CODcr、BOD5与四项生物指标均无相关性。

5Under SE medium conditions,unicellular periphyton had significant absorption effect on nitrogen,nutrient the average removal rate for TN and NH_4~+-N could reach above 20%,while NO_3-N increased, and the phosphorus absorption rate was still low(＜10%).

5培养液条件下，颗粒态周丛藻类表现出显著的氮营养物吸收效果，TN和NH_4~+-N的平均去除率均可达20%以上，NO_3~--N略有增长，而对磷营养的吸收率仍较低(＜10%)。

The water quality state was evaluated with Shannon-Weaver index and some indicators of periphyton, and results showed that the nutrient type of Daoguanhe Rerservoir was mesotrophic type, and it had a tendency to develop to the eutrophic type.

依据周丛藻类多样性指数及周丛生物某些指示种类评价该水库水质状态，判定为中营养型，并有向富营养级演化的趋势。

During the experiments,filamentous periphyton growed well in sewages,and its biomass was increased signicantly with nitrogen and phosphorus removal rates.The maximum removals of NH_4~+-N,NO~(3-)-N,TN,PO_4~(3-)-P and TP were occurred as the Chla concentrations were 1.14,1.01,1.00,0.84,and 1.02 mg·g~(-1),respectively.

试验期间，丝状周丛藻类能很好地适应污水环境，其生物量和氮、磷去除率显著相关，NH_4~+-N、NO_3~--N、TN、PO_4~(3-)-P和TP的最高去除率分别出现在Chla浓度为1.14、1.01、1.00、0.84和1.02 mg·g~(-1)时。
