Results The results showed that the material with the antibacterial activity in sapium root bark primarily was in the part of large polarity, but there was antibacterial activity in the material of the methanol elution with larger polarity; and the inhibitory components of the soluble material of ethyl acetate was complex and the different parts had the variable inhibition to different bacteria and in general these materials had a certain inhibition to Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

结果］乌桕根抑菌活性物质主要存在极性较大的部分，但极性很大的甲醇洗脱部分也没有抑菌活性；乙酸乙酯可溶部抑菌成分较复杂，不同部分时不同细菌的抑制作用不同，总体来说对金黄色葡萄球菌和大肠杆菌有一定的抑制作用。

Results: The essential oil from the fresh Houttuynia Cordata Thunb possessed the highest antibacterial activity against Staph.aureus and Sarcina,and the MIC was 1/2 х 10(-3) ml/ml.

结果：鱼腥草鲜样挥发油的抑菌效果最强，对金黄色葡萄球菌、八叠球菌的MIC均为1/2×10-3ml/ml，在贮藏过程中随着时间的延长MIC逐渐增大。

实验结果说明：引起奶牛隐性型乳房炎的主要致病菌类型为无乳链球菌、金黄色葡萄球菌和大肠杆菌，引起临床型乳房炎的主要致病菌是无乳链球菌；抗生素中的恩诺沙星、红霉素、庆大霉素用来治疗奶牛乳房炎效果较理想，中药制剂在治疗乳房炎上应用潜力很大，应大力推广。

Methods Modified Columbia chocolate agar was compared with blood agar staphy stick for the primary isolation of Hi from sputa.
