落日

Memories of that first visit to the Marshes have never left me: firelight on a half-turned face, the crying of geese, duck flighting in to feed, a boy's voice singing somewhere in the dark, canoes moving in procession down a waterway, the setting sun seen crimson through the smoke of burning reed-beds, narrow waterways that wound still deeper into the marshes.

初访沼区的那段记忆画面犹在：篝火映照半个脸庞，只听见叽叽喳喳喧叫不停的鹅声，振翅拍打寻吃的鸭子嘎嘎声，还有哪不知从何处传来的男孩歌唱声参杂在一起，只见木筏顺流而下，透过燃烧的芦苇聊聊炊烟落日霞光万道，崎岖河流一直延伸到沼泽深处。
