The courses in this academic program are political theory, foreign languages, applied computational technology, experimental biology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioseparation engineering, bioreaction engineering, chemical thermodynamics, mass transfer, chemical process simulation, pharmacology, preparation of finished traditional Chinese medicines, pharmaceutical chemistry, GMP in pharmaceutical industry, liquid-to-liquid extraction, pharmaceutical properties measurement and quality control, pharmacy administration, etc.

其工程硕士学位授权单位培养从事生物制药、合成制药、中药开发、药剂、药物性能检测与分析的高级工程技术人才。研修的主要课程有：政治理论课、外语课、数值分析、计算机应用技术、现代生物学与技术实验、现代微生物学、分子生物学、基因工程、生物分离工程、生物反应工程、化工热力学、化工传递过程原理、化工过程模拟、药理学新进展、中成药的制备、药物化学的进展、制药工业的GMP、液液萃取基础、药品性能检测与质量控制、药业管理学等。
