IR spectra show the ligand is bonded with RE ion through its oxygen atom in hydroxyl group of phenol; NO3 is coordinated as a symmetrical chelating bidentate group; the coordinated atoms of DMF and DMSO are the oxygen atoms in carbonyl and sulfoxyl groups. Fluorescence spectrum suggests that the Tb3+complexes have characteristic luminescence and its fluorescence intensity is enhanced after doping with La3+, Gd3+, Y3+, influence of doping ions and neutral ligands have also been discussed.

The result shows: at different temperatures the outcomings obtained in determining dissociation constants with such two theories can be seen effective, but the doubly reciprocal curves of quenching equation are not conformed to quenching curves based on dynamic and static quenching mechanism as those of fluorescence enhancement.

Secondly, we provide a two-level model to depict the one-, two-and three-photon fluorescent process and with it to calculate the one-, two-and three-photon fluorescence intensity dependence of the incident excitation intensity and time. We study the fluorescence intensity when excitation light's time distribution are square pulse、Gaussian pulse and sech pulse. We find that the influence of excitation light's time distribution on the two- and three- photon fluorescence peak intensity is larger than the one-photon fluorescence peak intensity. Two-level model can account for the behavior of saturation fluorescence.

We propose a new mechanism of ASFC, which based on energy transfer among the centers within the inhomogeneously broadened spectral profile.
