This dissertation divides into seven chapters and the main contents and conclusions are listed as following:1. Three series binuclear lanthanide carboxylate coordination polymers 1~7 have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions by altering the length of carbon chains between carboxyl group and phenyl ring on ligands, which are isophthalic acid, 1,3-phenylenediacetic acid and 1,3-phenoxydiacetic acid, and lanthanide ions such as Pr~(3+), Eu~(3+)and Ho~(3+).

Three kinds of small molecular copper and zinc superoxide dismutase mimics were synthesized with N, N-bis (benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl) amine (N3), N, N-bis (benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl) methylamine(MN3) and N,N-bis (benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl) benzylamine(BN3) as ligands. The com-plexes were characterized by UV, IR and element analysis and the structures were proposed.

Four kinds of aromatic ether-linked dinitriles with low melting temperatures were obtained via the nucleophilic substitution of hydroquinone, resorcinol, biphenol and bisphenol A with CBN. They were polymerized to afford a series of poly(pheny-s-triazine)s under the optimized conditions.

Simultaneously we prepared benzimidazolines with two methods by the reducton of benzimidazolium salts with NaBH_4 and Grignard addition with benzimidazolium salts. Thus we provided a new biomimic synthetic method for 9 kind of tetrahydro-β-carboline starting from carboxylic aicd and halid. A convenient synthetic method for preparing tetrahydro-β-carboline was provided.

Based on the previous experiments, we choose CNTs/CdS core-shell nanowires as inorganic materials and poly(benzyl-ether) dendrons with thiol functionalities as organic solubilizer. The solubility of CNTs/CdS core-shell nanowires in normal solvents was expected to improve through chemical interactions between core-shell nanowires and solubilizer. The enhanced solubility can improve facility in processability. It also provides a new application method in nanomaterials.

Especially, compelexes 1 and 2 are based on one-dimensional ···OHInOHIn···chains as building units, while complex 3 is based on double four-ring [In8(μ2-O)4(μ2-H2O)8]16+, complex 4 is based on trinuclear In3(μ3-O)(CO2)6, complexes 11 and 12 are both based on nested bistranded helices.
