苍鑫的作品《交流》脱胎于以前的的行为作品《舌头的体验》，1996年的那次行为中，他曾仿效神农氏尝百草的劲头，用舌头一一舔舐随手找到的各种现成生活用品、植物甚至昆虫，用味觉来体验各种非食物的物品的本来味道，以寻求对外在事物新的认知方式。
