Since 2002, Chan ventured into the new arena of fine arts. Three pieces of his creations were exhibited in May at Art Chicago 2002, one of the largest international art exhibitions in America, upon the invitation of Art Beatus gallery in Hong Kong. In June of the same year, his work was shown again at Art Basel in Switzerland.
