Zheng He's voyages from China to the "western seas" between 1405 and 1433 stand as one of the greatest feats in navigational history. 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty.under Zheng He's command, a huge fleet consisting of more than 200 ships and 20,000 crew set out from China's east coast, traversed the island-dotted South China Sea and the Strait of Malacca, crossed the Indian Ocean and finally reached the remote eastern coast of Africa.

航海管理英语（（针对所有船长、轮机长、大副、大管轮等高级船员）-培训高级船员具备一定的使用英语管理的能力，涉及到的航海英语环境包括：理解远洋航线的计划和船舶报告系统，海上救助及自动记录器，航行中的船舶应急措施，能够与领航员、码头装卸工人、代理人、港口管理机构和承租赁人、船舶设备制造商、维修公司等的英语沟通和日常交流能力，翻译和理解承租人的要求。
