This paper presented the latest advances in the application of biosensors monitoring for BOD、N、P、pathogens、pesticides and heavy metals in the aquiculture environment , and the problems with their applications in monitoring mariculture and reasons for the problems. Meanwhile , the novel technologies of genetically engineered microorganism , of molecular imprinting polymer and of real2time multi2analysis needed to improve the performance and to extend the application of biosensors for sea fishery , and to offer a prospect of biosensors to be combined with computer to allow online monitoring and control were demonstrated.
