In order to study the mechanism of living sperms in the spermatheca, the structure of the spermatheca is investigated by light microscope and electron microscope respectfully. The results show that the spermatheca consists of six layers. From outer to inner, they are: peritoneal membrane, muscular layer, connective tissue, ground membrane, epithelial layer and inner membrane.
