A reasonable explanation was given to this phenomenon in terms of the mechanism of anodic dissolution and characteristics of CO〓 corrosion. The corrosion behavior of P110 steel at lower temperature and pressure showed that, the corrosion product film initially was thin and discontinuous, then with the increase of temperature and exposure time it became thicker and sludgy, at last a new crystalline film formed on the sludgy film.
