This alloy can be used as a compound dexidant,desulphurizer and alloying addition in steel making,and can also be used as areductant in mediumlow carbon manganse iron productio or in metal manganese production by electruisilicon heating.

在炼钢中可作复合脱氧剂、脱硫剂、和合金添加剂，也可以作为生产中低碳锰铁和电硅热法生产金属锰的还原剂。

The results indicated that ultra-low nitrogen (0.001 0%-0.008 0%, w/%) in low alloy steel could be determined accurately under such optimized analytical conditions as follow: the addition of deoxidizing agent was less than 0.35%, multi-head milling cutter should be chosen and the milling depth was 1.4 mm while sampling, the mass percentage of argon was no less than 99.999 5%, the washing time was set as 8 s, the precombustion time was set as 3. 3 s and energetic precombustion energetic measure optical source mode is adopted.

结果表明，取样时控制脱氧剂加入量不超过0.35%且选用多刀头铣刀盘，铣样深度为1.4 mm；在氩气的质量分数不小于99.999 5%，冲洗时间为8 s，预燃时间为3.3 s，采用高能预燃高能测量光源方式等优化的分析条件下，可有效测定低合金成品钢中质量分数为0.001 0%~0.008 0%的超低氮。
