In order to study drag reduction characteristics of riblet surface, two kind of different size's rible surface were manufactured on aluminum alloy using quasi-LIGA molding technology.

The results show that the drag reduction effect is obvious in turbulent flows due to the riblet surface with the comparsion of the momentum loss thicknesses and wall friction stresses of smooth surface and riblet surface.
