The effects of FPL andits three ingredients on growth of ovary,on micro-and ultra-structure andAlkaline phosphatase activity of endometrium,on structure andkeratinization rate of exfoliated cells in vaginal epithelium in mice,onmicrocirculation in rat and on uterine kinesis in rabbit were respectivelyobserved by the techniques of light and electron microscopes,histochemistry,microcirculation and organ cinetography.The results have confirmed themechanism of FPL for the sterility caused by ovary standstill and persistentcorpus luteum to be as follows:(1) a weak estrogen-like role which canprompt development of ovary,proliferation and secretion of endometrium andvaginal epithelium and cornification of exfoliated cells in vaginal epithelium;(2)enhancing AKP's activity of endometrium;(3)improving microcirculation;(4) exciting uterus.

Results:(1) CBC possesses a natural trabecular structure. Its components is similar to the mineral of bone.(2) CBC has great cellur biocompatibility. It can promote cell adhesion, proliferation and secretory while needn t modification.(3) In nude mice, the ectopic osteogenesis of MCCAB was obvious which was better than that of CBC alone and the new bone formation increased in pace with time. In the MCCAB, both intramembranous and cartilaginous osteogeneses were seen but the former dominated.(4) When MCCAB was autotransplanted intramuscularly, the osteogenesis was much better than that of negative control groups.(5) The MCCAB can repair autogenous calvaria defects effectively and the effect was much better than that of CBM alone and blank group. Conclusion:(1) CBC possesses good biocompatibility, osteoconduction and porous structure, can be used as scaffold material for constructing of tissue engineering bone.

The effects of 50 IU of TNF-α given intracamerally on the morphology of outflow pathways and other tissues of anterior segments, expression of trabecular stromelysin and the change of components of trabecular extra cellular matrix were observed in 24h, 3days, 7days and 14days after injection.
