Pulmonary embolism (in the pulmonary artery or a branch) causes difficulty breathing, chest pain, and death of a section of lung tissue, with fever and rapid heartbeat.

若栓子堵塞肺动脉或其一分支的血流，会引起呼吸困难，胸骨后不适，还会使一段肺组织坏死，引起发烧、心跳加快。

The primary cause of the acquired platelet defect is thought to be activation and release of alpha granules during extracorporeal circulation. Before CPB PRP was prepared by obtaining the required amount of patient's whole blood by autologous plateletpheresis. PRP could be reinfused after operation in order to save the function and quantities of the platelets. On the other hand PRP could be made into autologous platelet gel. APG contains supraphysiologic amounts of growth factors and has adequate tensile strength and adhesive ability.

CPB前，利用自体血小板分离技术可将部分血小板从患者全血中分离出来制成富血小板血浆（Platelet-rich plasma PRP），PRP可在术后回输，以达到血小板数量和功能的双重保护，另一方面可将PRP制备成自体血小板胶，APG中含有丰富的生长因子，并且具有足够的抗张强度和粘性，因此可起到术中止血，封闭伤口，促进胸骨及伤口愈合的作用。

The combined cervicothoracic incison and sternotomy were performed for the exposure of the vertebral bodies, which were removed together with the herniated discs or the ossified posterior longitudinal ligaments, using the osteotomes and the air-drill. Fusion was done with the iliac bone graft.

Results In 252 injuried patients , 45 patients had fractures in different parts: 12 cases in tibial plateau, 6 cases in transverse process of lumbar vertrbra, 5 cases in shoulder blade, 2 cases in sternum, 3 cases in rib, 7 cases in sacrum; 5 cases in acetabulum; 3 cases in osethmoidale; 2 cases in nasal bone.

结果 252例X线平片中未显示骨折的患者经CT重建后，45例显示有骨折：胫骨平台骨折12例，腰椎横突骨折6例，肩胛骨骨折5例，胸骨骨折2例，肋骨骨折3例，骶骨骨折7例，髋臼骨折5例，筛骨骨折3例，鼻骨骨折2例。
