Methods 6 cases of COPD with giant bullae were treated by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery and a small incision. Before the operation, the patient's dyspnea were graded by Hugh-Jones: 2 cases were class Ⅱ, 4 cases were class Ⅲ.
