The recombinant antisense GFAP retrovirus can effectively inhibit the growth of glial cicatrix formation in vivo. This result provides a new way for delaying or suppressing glial cicatrix formation by the technique of gene engineering.

Results The recombinant retrovirus resulted in the number reduction of GFAP positive cells around the injured sites. The typical characteristics of reactive gliosis disappeared. The formation of the glial cicatrix was inhibited.

结果 重组反义GFAP逆转录病毒使脑穿刺损伤灶周围GFAP阳性细胞数量明显减少，反应性胶质化的典型特征消失，胶质瘢痕形成明显减少。
