METHODS:The techniques of RT- PCR and Northern Blot were adopted to test the gene expression of OB- R and the radioimmunoassay was used to test the serum a nd hypothalamus leptin and insulin in order to observe the changes of serum lept in, insulin and lipide in simple obesity patients and the changes of weight,Lee' s index,somatic fat,the contents of serum and hypothalamus leptin and insulin as well as the expression of hypothalamus OB- R gene in obesity rats before and a fter acupuncture treatment.

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells could differentiate into osteoblasts, adipocytes and neural like cells with osteoblast inductor (β-sodium glycerophosphate, dexamethasone, vitamin C), lipoblast inductor (dexamethasone, 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine, bovine insulin, indometacin) and serum-free medium inductor (dimethyl sulphoxide, butylated hydroxyanisole) respectively.
