The key feature for separation of Pallas's is that Pallas's is usually paler/less reddish above and the streaks on the mantle (which may be quite obvious on Middendorff's) are clearly black -centred (reddish/brownish on Middendorff's) and of Styan's is that Styan's is longer-billed and –tailed, plainer and lacks the white leading edge to the outer primary (which is shown by the other two).
