Results CTVE could clearly demonstrate the shape,size,and relation of the normal auditory ossicular chain.A visualization rate of malleus,incus,and incudomalleal articulation was 100%,and was 32% for the stapedial footplate.However,in only 21% could the anterior and posterior crura of stapes be distinguished.Cholesteatoma was found in 12 cases with chronic otitis media,in which CTVE demonstrated varying degrees of destruction of the auditory ossicle.In 1 case with congenital anomaly,ossicle dysplasia was seen.

结果 CTVE能清楚显示正常听骨链的形态、大小及相互关系，锤骨、砧骨及锤砧关节的显示率为100%(38/38)，镫骨底板的显示率为32%(12/38)，只有21%(8/38)可以分辨镫骨的前、后脚；18例中耳炎患者中12例胆脂瘤形成，CTVE上有不同程度的听小骨破坏。1例中耳畸形显示听骨链发育异常。

Results: Both MIP and SSD 3D images could direct display the shape, size and correlation of malleus and incus, the incus-stapedial joint was like"L-shape" structure, but it was difficult to exhibit the footplate, anterior and posterior crura of stepes.Cholesteatomas was found in 12 cases with chronic otitis media, that 3D images exhibited varying degrees of destruction of the auditory ossides, and the display ability of SSD 3D image was slightly better than that of MIP 3D image.

结果：MIP和SSD 3D重建都能直观地观察锤、砧骨的形态、大小及相互关系，砧镫关节呈"L"形，镫骨前后脚及底板显示欠佳。18例中耳炎患者中12例胆脂瘤形成，3D重建显示有不同程度的听小骨破坏，SSD 3D的显示效果略好于MIP 3D。

Results The main cause of recurrent and residual cholesteatoma was the uncomplete primary mastoidectomy,the revision mastoid surgery was performed in 86 ears and the tympanoplasty with mastoidectomy was performed in 10 ears;82 cases were followed up from 1 to 11 years,in which 5 cases recurred.

Erosive scutum, soft tissue mass filling the enlarged and clear margin bony cavity and structural bone destruction were the basic CT features of cholesteatomatous chronic otitis media.

盾板破坏，有软组织充填的边缘清晰的扩大骨腔隙，中耳腔结构骨组织的破坏，是胆脂瘤CT表现的基本特征。

Results HRCT findings of 45 cases of chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma included abnormal soft-tissue mass shadows in tympanic cavity of middle ear,sclerotic mastoid were observed in most cases, and bone changes including enlargment of the tympanic cavity with sclerotic border, the dislocation and destruction of the ossicles.The sigmoid sinus plate,tympanic tegmen, semicircular canal and facial nerve canal were destroyed in severe cases.

结果 胆脂瘤型慢性中耳炎患者HRCT表现：①45例均见中耳腔内团块状软组织影；②40例为硬化型乳突（88.9%）；③骨质改变包括中耳腔扩大和周缘骨质硬化、听小骨的移位、破坏、乳突骨质的破坏，严重者可伴有乙状窦壁、鼓室盖、面神经管及半规管的破坏。

Most cases of chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma can be diagnosed by HRCT, which is the primary examination method at present.

HRCT对大多数胆脂瘤型慢性中耳炎可作出准确的诊断，是目前该疾病的首选检查方法。

It is thought that high difinition CT scan not only accurately showed the position of cholesteatoma,but also the degree of bone erosion,and can early predict the develpment of otogenic complications,demonstrate non-typical extensive temporalbone erosion.

认为高分辨率CT不仅能将胆脂瘤精确定位，而且还能显示周围骨质的破坏程度，能早期预测颅内并发症的发展，确定不典型的广泛破坏性病变。

When cholesteatoma extends above tentorium, it can be removed simultaneously by post-sigmoid sinus approach.

眼震电图在本病表现异常的机率高于CT及ABR，乙状窦后进路是首选的手术路径，胆脂瘤完全切除不必加行三叉神经感觉根部分切断术。
