And Cain said unto the LORD,My punishment is greater than I can bear.

4：13 该隐对耶和华说，我的刑罚太重，我受不了。

"Cain said to the Lord,"My punishment is more than I can bear.

"该隐对耶和华说："我的刑罚太重，过於我所能担当。

For a while the Lord was silent about their behaviour, but He promises to call them to account.

有一阵子，耶和华对他们的所作所为不置一词，但是祂应许过要他们为自己行为负责。
