The results indicate that (1) with the increase of grazing intensities from light, middle, heavy to overgrazing, plant coverage and aboveground/belowground biomass decreases, the structure of plant community changes from simple to complexity and to simple, the type of plant community changes from mesophytes+xerophytes to xerophytes and to halophytes.

A survey of the Dahe Bay vegetation in Jin-ping cascade hydropower station setting along the river stream in Sichuan province, China, was performed. A total of 132 plant species and 4 environmental factors in 50 sample quadrats were recorded. Assemblages of Jin-ping Dahe Bay were classified using two-way indicator species analysis, ordinating by detrended correspondence analysis. Seven vegetation assemblages were divided by TWINSPAN classification, in which Pouzolzia elegans shrub grassland was the dominant community in this area.

The interspecific coordination effects of oat+vetch mixed annual pasture were studied with eleven treatments on alpine grassland in the up-stream area of Shiyang River. The results show that the interspecific coordinated effects raised obviously the utilization efficiency of such resources as solar energy, nutrients and water in sward of oat mixed with vetch. The height of the whole sward community, and dry material yields per hectare were improved.
