The mortality of strangulating intestine obstruction is higher than Simple intestine obstruction. It is the key to lower mortality by analyzing etiology and electing correct operating occasion.

CT findings of internal hernias include evidence of small bowel obstruction; the most common manifestation of internal hernias is strangulating SBO, which occurs after closed-loop obstruction.
