In this paper, studies were carried out on the problem of CaSO4 crystal in pipeline endophragm and impeller of bittern transfer pump which was difficultly to be removed with conventional chemical and physical methods in the bittern transportation process of the Jiangsu Oilfield Bittern Extraction and Transportation Management Department.

Two needle-shaped crystal chemicals were identificated from a plateau plant Halenia elliptica D. Don. Some analysis methods, such as EA, MS, NMR, FTIR and UV spectrometly, as well as melting point analysis, were used for the characterization of them, results showed that they were 1,3-dihydroxy-4,5,8-trimethoxyxanthone and 1-hydroxy-2,3,4,8-tetramethoxyxanthone.

In this case, the solidification of the liquid phase formed at the hipping temperature led to the formation of crystalline intergranular phases at all temperatures: however, the chemical compositions of the intergranular phases formed in the specimens with and without carbon additions were different, since for high carbon contents the resulting intergranular phase was observed to be richer in Yttrium(85% at Y/15% at Si).

In this dissertation, the chemical constituents of the red algae Laurencia cartilaginea and Laurencia majuscula collected from the South China Sea of the Xisha Islands were studied, and 12 compounds were isolated by combination of extraction and separation and identified by various kinds of spectrum.
