The original alkalic series of basalic magma evolutes into trachybasalt through crystallization differentiation of olivine and pyroxene, and the trachybasalt is transformed into alkalic rhyolite with remarkable Eu, Sr, Ba, Ti, P nagetive abnormalities through strong crystallization differentiation of plagioclase and also pyroxene Ti Fe oxides and apatite, all together leading to the loss of neutral (SiO 2=57%～63%) andesite and trachyandesite in the volcanic rocks in this area and appearance of bimodal volcanic rock combination feature.

Repeated surgeries were performed in 25 cases via transfrontal approach, 13 cases via transsphenoidal. Twenty-nine of 35 cases with visual interference were resolved, no improvement was achieved in 6 cases. Ten of 13 cases with PRL above normal level recovered within one week after surgery and no death was seen. 31 cases were followed up, and showed satisfying results.

再次手术经额入路25例，经蝶入路13例。35例有视觉功能障碍者再次术后29例有明显改善，无改善者6例；13例泌乳素增高者有10例在术后1周内恢复正常；无死亡病例。38例患者中有31例得到随访，效果满意。

Methods 23 cases of Nelsons syndrome operated in our department in last 19 years were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical features included increasing cutaneous pigmentation after bilateral adrenalectomy, markedly elevated ACTH level, pituitary adenoma in CT or/and MRI. Transsphenoidal surgery was done in 21 cases, transfrontal craniotomy in 2 cases. A follow-up period ranged from half a year to 9 years.

对我科手术治疗的23例该病病例进行回顾性研究，临床特点包括肾上腺切除手术后皮肤粘膜色素沉着，血ACTH水平升高，影像学检查发现垂体腺瘤，21例经蝶窦手术，2例经额开颅，随访时间从半年至9年。
