The cleaner unhairing and liming technology was applied in pig garment leather and sheep garment leather. The physical and chemical properties of the resultant leather were tested, and the fiber separation was examined by SEM and Vis microscope analysis. All the results showed that this cleaner liming process is feasible.

Results: The positive detection ratio of IHC and nested PCR were 64.2% and 81.1%, respectively. It was showed that the positive detection ratio of nested PCR was significantly higher than that of IHC (P.01). The nested PCR assay had advantages over IHC on sensitivity, specificity, Youden's index, positive predictive value and negative predictive value.
