In order to provide a theoretical base for rapid clonal propagation of new variety of Hemerocallis middendorfii（＂Baltimore oriole＂,＂ Bettry woods＂）that was imported from foreign countries, 1/2MS media containing different concentration of NAA and IBA were used to regenerate from Hemerocallis middendorfii re-grown shoots without roots.
