In what kind of treatment setting do you conduct psychoanalytical psychotherapy?

Between the different teaching blocks the participants are asked to read specialist literature (classical psychoanalytical texts in English or in Chinese translation, and papers by the lecturers on specific topics), and to write reports on their therapeutic work following set guidelines. These are then commented on in writing.

Results: At the end of 12 weeks, the efficiencies of both groups were equivalent P＜0.05）.Compared with pretreatment, the total scores of the PANSS, the Positive, the Negative and the general psychopathological factors were lowered significantly. But the scores of the experiential group were confidential lower than that of control group since the end of 2 weeks. As well as the adverse effects were less and milder. But the dose and fee per day in experience group were smaller than that of control.

结果：治疗12周，研究组和对照组疗效相当；两组PANSS量表总分，阳性量表分，阴性量表分，般精神病理量表分于4周末均较治疗有显著性下降（P＜0.01），研究组阳性量表分自第2周起明显优于对照组（P＜0.05），且不良反应较少，程度较轻（P＜0.05）；研究组奥氮平用量较对照组少，经济费用明显偏低。

Ve schizophrenic inpatients will be enrolled into the 6-week, randomized, double-blind trial of sarcosine monotherapy (1000~3000 mg/day, N=75) vs. risperidone (2~6 mg/d, N=75). We will measure clinical efficacy and side effects biweekly during the treatment. At the beginning and the end of the trial, we will also measure cognitive function (e.g. intellect, attention, memory, executive function), serum amino acids, expressions of mRNA (by realtime quantitative RT-PCR) and protein of NMDA-related genes (such as SHMT2, AMT, PSAT1, ASCT1, and serine racemase) in peripheral blood lymphocytes.

第一部份将收案150位未曾治疗之精神分裂症住院患者，以双盲方式随机给予六周sarcosine (1000-3000 mg/day，N=75)或risperidone (2-6 mg/day，N=75)治疗，我们将每两周评估临床疗效与安全性，并在研究开始及结束时，评量认知功能(智能、注意力、记忆力、执行功能)并测定血清中glycine或D-serine浓度以及SHMT2、AMT、PSAT1、ASCT1、serine racemase等基因於周边淋巴球之mRNA (以realtime RT-PCR测定)与蛋白质表现量。
