箴

NIV Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.

自以为有智慧的人，会患什麼错误为什麼？箴 16：6 因怜悯诚实、罪孽得赎敬畏耶和华的、远离恶事。

The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

箴9：15 杖打和责备，能加增智慧。放纵的儿子，使母亲羞愧。见10句。

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death.

箴14：27 敬畏耶和华，就是生命的泉源，可以使人离开死亡的网罗。

Pro 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

箴 7：10 看哪，有一个妇人来迎接他，是妓女的打扮，有诡诈的心思。

Proverbs says,"The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart."

箴言说：「鼎为炼银，炉为炼金；惟有耶和华熬炼人心。

Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer; coneys are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags.

蚂蚁是无力之类，却在夏天豫备粮食。沙番是软弱之类，却在磐石中造房。－－《旧·箴》30：25、26多多少少随日过，年年月月有欢颜。人生在世如飞雁，鸟倦之日便知还。

Prov 8:34-35 Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.

箴8：34-35 听从我，日日在我门口仰望，在我门框旁边等候的，那人便为有福。

Pro 3:34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

箴 3：34 他讥诮那好讥诮的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。

Pro 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

箴 1：22 说你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，亵慢人喜欢亵慢，愚顽人恨恶知识，要到几时呢。
