The results showed that the structure characteristics of block cloddy was with tight surface but loose inner, the bulk density of the crust can be high as 1.39~2.0g/cm^3, which was mainly affect by unreasonable tillage process. The tight surface can not be crushed by nature alternation of drying and wetting. Farming machinery to impact and rotary tillage were necessary when reduce them.

Three short geomagnetic excursions, the Go thenburg, Mono Lake and Mungo in the Brunhes Positive Polarity period, were revealed based on the studies of magnetostratigraphy, susceptibility and δ^18O of sediments in core WP 92-5 from the central temperature area of the Western Pacific Warm Pool, and the ages of them are 12.1--11.3 kaBP, 25.0--24.0 kaBP, and 31.0--28.0 kaBP respectively. USA with isothermal-absorption method. The configuration of FeS2 and its reaction products were summarized from the experiments.
