The first four chapters mainly introduced the development and the trends of small and medium sized technology-based firms, thereafter, chapter five discussed the characteristics and the scale of technical innovation, in chapter six, impeditive factors of technical innovation inside and outside enterprises were discussed, and in the last chapter, several suggestions were proposed.

前四章主要是介绍了科技型中小企业的现阶段发展状况和基本趋势；第五章介绍了科技型中小企业的技术创新规模和特点；第六章提出了阻碍科技型中小企业技术创新的内部因素和外部因素；第七章是在前面的基础上提出的一些相应的对策。
