The playfulness of "Digital Cubes" does not try to disguise its symbolic parallel to meaningful social interaction; while "Wave Bubble" examines the boundaries of privacy in a conglomerated, technologically intrusive environment,"Freedom Flies" proposes alternative models for social awareness and provides new ways for information freedom and democratization. In the same vain is a suit of software tools called "Open Government Information Awareness" designed to monitor government performances allowing everybody to access official data sets and build profiles of those in the government, reversing the course of big-brother's control on the individuals. Also included in MIT's exhibit is "ScreamBody", a wearable space for screaming. ScreamBody silences the screams so the person may feel free to vocalize without fear of environmental retaliation, and at the same time records these for later release where, when, and how the person chooses.
