The major HRCT findings were presented with soft tissue mass in 89 middle ears(100%),the destruction of temporal bone including enlargment of the tympanic cavity 89 ears(100%),tympano scutum 55 ears(61.80%),ossicular chain 82 ears(92.13%),facial nerve cannal 54 ears(60.67%),semicircular canal 18 ears(20.22%),external auditory canal 10 ears(11.24%),tympanic tegmen 15 ears(16.85%),vestibular 1 ear(1.12%),cochlea 1 ear(1.12%) and sigmoid sinus plate 7 ears(7.86%).

HRCT表现：中耳腔扩伴软组织团块89耳(100%)，盾板破坏55耳(61.80%)，听小骨破坏82耳(92.13%)，面神经骨管破坏54耳(60.67%)，半规管破坏18耳(20.22%)，外耳道骨质破坏10耳(11.24%)，鼓室盖破坏15耳(16.85%)，前庭及耳蜗破坏各1耳(1.12%)，乙状窦周围骨质破坏7耳(7.86%)。

Results HRCT findings of 45 cases of chronic otitis media with cholesteatoma included abnormal soft-tissue mass shadows in tympanic cavity of middle ear,sclerotic mastoid were observed in most cases, and bone changes including enlargment of the tympanic cavity with sclerotic border, the dislocation and destruction of the ossicles.The sigmoid sinus plate,tympanic tegmen, semicircular canal and facial nerve canal were destroyed in severe cases.

结果 胆脂瘤型慢性中耳炎患者HRCT表现：①45例均见中耳腔内团块状软组织影；②40例为硬化型乳突（88.9%）；③骨质改变包括中耳腔扩大和周缘骨质硬化、听小骨的移位、破坏、乳突骨质的破坏，严重者可伴有乙状窦壁、鼓室盖、面神经管及半规管的破坏。

Results Spiral CT findings of cholesteatomtous tympanitis included: soft tissue mass in the tympanium, tympanal sinus and mastoid,destruction of the bone including ossicles chain,secutum,facial nerve canal,semricirular canal,sigmoid sinus plate, tegmenttympanic.

结果：胆脂瘤型中耳炎的螺旋CT表现为鼓室、鼓窦及乳突区软组织肿块，常伴有骨质破坏，其中包括听小骨、盾板、面神经管、半规管、乙状窦及鼓室盖骨质破坏。

下面是窦状小管延伸到淋巴结的中心。

The reticulated vessel which has large cavity has thicker wall due to more elastic fibers and more smooth muscles and its endothelium is cuboidal epithelium which has rotundity karyons. But the reticulated vessel which has small cavity has thinner wall due to less elastic fibers and less smooth muscles and its endothelial cells are flat epithelial cells which have long-shuttle-shaped karyons. In some regions, the ducts are very small in diameter and thin of wall, and they become blood sinus in the end.

管腔大者，管壁厚，弹性纤维、平滑肌纤维多，内膜靠腔面内皮细胞多成立方状，细胞核端位近圆形；管腔小者，管壁薄，弹性纤维、平滑肌纤维少，内皮细胞扁平、排列稀疏，胞核长梭形；一些区域管径极小，管壁极薄，成为开放的血窦，只允许一个血细胞通过。

Ordinary no destruction , the ossicular chain can be erosions and destruction , but more slight and no transitional .the major CT findings in simple chronic middle ear on 2 patients were soft tissue in middle ear cavity ,and 1 patient findings hydropneumo, the bone of tympanic cavity cirrhosis ,no destruction .

其它征象包括乙状窦、鼓室盖、水平半规管、面神经管水平段骨质破坏。29例肉芽肿型中耳炎CT表现为中耳腔内的软组织密度影，部分有液平，鼓室壁增生、硬化，骨质破坏少见，听小骨可出现吸收破坏，但程度较轻，一般无移位。2例单纯型中耳炎表现为中耳腔内的软组织密度影，1例有液平，鼓室壁骨质硬化，无骨质破坏。
