The achievement of this project can be briefly summed up as following:(1)the carbon contributing to karst processes mainly comes from ecological system itself under the condition of existence of vegetation and soil covers;(2)results indicates that the depositing processes of rainfall to CO2 is an important "sink" to global carbon cycle;(3)owing to the differences of vegetation and surface covering, the adjusting effect of ecosystem to environmental humidity, temperature and CO2 concentration near surface air which indicates different benefit of preventing water and soil from lose is marked;(4)the preponderant species of vegetation in the karst ecosystems which have different kinds of carbonate rocks are obviously variant, and this situation results to the clearly differences of the micro － habitat , structure of surface cover and water holding capacity;(5) the relevant study showed that the carpophagous animals and birds make a important role in the spreading of vegetation seeds. The designed experience for the study of seed reservoir was not able to obtain a satisfactory result.

主要研究成果包括：通过对表层系统碳库的研究，认为在有土壤和植被覆盖时，岩溶作用过程中的碳主要来自生态系统本身而不是母岩；降雨对大气碳具有重要&沉淀&作用，是碳的一个重要汇；不同植被类型表层岩溶系统对系统水份、空气湿度、气温、土温和近地表 CO2浓度等具有明显调节作用，具有不同的水土保持效益；不同母岩的岩溶生态系统的植被优势种、属差异明显，由此形成的小生境、地被物及其持水性差异巨大；对典型岩溶表层系统种子库的试验研究没有取得满意结果，但食果动物、鸟类对种子传播起到一定作用。

Cacao tree is a kind of small arbor tree and it has the following outstanding features. First, cauliflory: its flowers burst open on the tree trunks directly and then the flowers will produce fruits on the tree trunks too. The cacao flowers are small, but the fruits are big. The fruits are elliptical and have many ridged lines on the outer skins. The color of the fruits is yellow, and each fruit can grow as heavy as one kilogram. Each cacao plant can grow 60 to 70 fruits, and there are about 30 to 50 seeds in each fruit.

可可是一种有趣的梧桐科小乔木，它最大的特点是&老茎生花&和&老茎结果&，花直接开在树干上，果也直接结在树干上，花小而果实大，果子呈椭圆型，表面有一条条棱形线突出，橙黄色，每个果子重达1千克左右，每株可可树可结60-70个果子，一个果子内有30-50粒种子，巧克力的原材料就是这些种子。

The weed seeds of 21 species belonging to 14 families (mainly Gramineae, Primulaceae, Polygonaceae, and Chenopodiaceae) could be dispersed into the paddy field by irrigation water.

The effects of temperature and illumination on seed germination of Chenopodium ambrosioides, an invasive alien harmful weed, and changes of germination capacity during its storage under different temperature were studied.

研究了不同光照和温度对外来有害植物土荆芥Chenopodium ambrosioides种子萌发率的影响及种子在不同贮藏时间和不同贮藏温度下萌发率的变化。

Cucurbita ficifolia seeds were used to study the effects of temperature, treatment time and substrate moisture on seed priming.

以黑籽南瓜种子为材料，研究了不同温度、处理时间和基质含水量对黑籽南瓜种子引发效果的影响。

The results showed that treatment can greatly improve germination potential, germination index and vigor index of Cucurbita ficifolia seed. The priming treatment also significantly reduced the average time of germination.

结果表明，基质引发处理能明显提高黑籽南瓜种子发芽势、发芽指数和活力指数，明显减少种子平均发芽天数；基质引发温度明显提高幼苗干鲜质量和根体积等，而基质湿度对幼苗生长性状影响不显著。
