From the Warring States Period to the Qin Dynasty, the ancient myths and the ways of searching longevity indicated that the"God"concept was equal to the"immortal"which emphasized that the athanasy of the life is a"divine"nature, unlike ordinary people. In the Han Dynasty, the immortal concept undergone a subtle change, the god was becoming closer to the"human"existence. After the establishment of the Taoism, The Eastern Jin Taoist scholars Gehong established the immortal concept of Taoism,and put the"God"downgraded to longevity who practicing the longevous knowledge,and even established a"Dixian"concept. This completed the transformation process of"Shenren"to"Dixian"concept.

And yet our own good spirit is the very Spirit of God moving and stirring in us, and yet not God, but the Spirit of God breathed into a creaturely form; and this good Spirit Divine in its origin, and Divine in its nature, is that alone in us that can reach God, unite with him, be moved and blessed by Him.

从我们的主以天国近了，或降临于人间比作福音的光景，因为这国没有属世的事物，被造的能力和从人间的事物，其中的人必须完全舍己，只有创造天地万物的神在其中运行，人间的国度藉着不断的天启和光照和此国得以合一，何等美的新约圣经，虽然并无证明天国即为福音，除非藉圣灵所生神的国就无法进入，除非为圣灵引导神的国就无法继续，除非是圣灵的果子，任何思想、渴望和行动都无法支取圣灵。

For if goodness can only be in God, if it cannot exist separate from Him, if He can only bless and sanctify, not by a creaturely gift, but by Himself becoming the Blessing and Sanctification of the creature, then it is the highest degree of blindness to look for any goodness and happiness from anything but the immediate indwelling union and operation of the Deity in the life of the creature.

称永久代祷的人是宗教狂热者是何等毫无理由，至少在单单真实的从神获得启示的生命，是无法得到良善和喜乐，那就不可能同意此说，因为良善无法与神分离而单独存在，除非借他自己所变成有福而圣洁的人否则没人能有此种生命，惟有直接从内住的神得到启示，否则没有高级受造之物，可从其他地方找到良善和喜乐，根据永远的启示：动物怎样需要空气而高级受造物也怎样需要有良善、圣洁和喜乐的本性。
