Another approach in enhancing the light extraction efficiency of AlGaInP LED was accomplished using a surface roughening process. In this process, the Au(170 nm)/AuBe(260 nm)/Au(170 nm) ohmic contact layers were first deposited on the GaP window layer. After the alloy annealing process (480°C for 10 min), the Be atoms will diffuse into the GaP top layer and form non-uniform clusters. The LED samples were then immersed into a mixture 3H3PO4:1H2O2:1H2O solution for 6 min, resulting in a rough GaP surface. The luminous intensity of the AlGaInP LED can increase from 42 to 50 mcd, that is, an 18% enhancement can be achieved via the present non-photolithography surface roughening process.Keywords: LED, AlGaInP, Cu substrate, Reflector, Surface roughening

The results show that 60Co-γ ray radiation has the most remarkable effect on the degradation of organophosphorus pesticides such as fenitrothion, parathion, methyl-parathion, phorate and chlorpyrifos and the maximum degradation rates are over 85%. The degradation rates of methamidophos, acephate, malathion ,dimethoate are slightly inferior to them and the optimum degradation rates is just only 34.70%. At the same time, the contents of soluble total sugars, glucose, fructose, sucrose and total sugars in apple juice decrease unconspicuously, but the total acid content in apple juice and its color value and clarity increase. Based on a comprehensive consideration of the 60Co-γ radiation effect on the actual degradation of organophosphorus pesticides in apple juice and its main chemical and physical indexes, organophosphorous pesticides residue will be decreased to a lower level with radiation dose of about 5 kGy but the main chemical and physical indexes of export apple juice can not be affected.

Oxalate solutions 0.5~20.0 mmol L^(-1 oxalic acid adjusted to pH 5.16 with 10.0 mmol L^(-1) NaOH had a much higher (1.51~2.98 times) soil-P-release effect than oxalic acid solution the same in oxalate concentration. Therefore, the mechanism of oxalic acid/oxalate triggering release of soil phosphorus is assumed to be dominated by ligand-exchange or complexing reactions of oxalate anionC2O(superscript 2- subscript 4 but not simply acid-dissolving effect. The effect of oxalate anion on soil phosphorus release was found to be somewhat cumulative, i.e. the amount of P released was primarily controlled by the cumulative oxalate loading rate, relatively independent of the manner of oxalate addition (one-time or sequential).

Sediments of this system were sequentially extracted in natural granularity. The result showed that there was a good linear relationship between organic matter and org / bact P contents in sediments. This organic matter in sediments was the source of org / bact P. The total phosphorus in sediments dominated the content of total dissolved phosphorus and phosphate in interstitial water. In addition, there were good relatiohships between total phosphorus in sediment and the total dissolved phosphorus in interstitial water, and between total phosphorus in sediment and phosphate in interstitial water. FeP and AlP in sediments were correlative with Eh and phosphate in interstitial water, respectively. This showed that the FeP and AlP contents were affected by Eh in interstitial water and the total content of FeP and AlP dominated the content of phosphate in interstitial water.
