To study high temperature corrosion behavior on materials during solid waste incineration, laboratory corrosion tests were performed to iron, cast iron, 20# carbon steel, stainless steel in oxidizing gaseous environments which included O〓, SO〓, H〓O, HCl, Cl〓and some ashes coming from self-designed incinerator, the Xunde's one and synthetic ashes. The synthetic ashes are used as corrodents composed of chlorides , sulfates and oxides.
