Ambient temperature self-crosslinking acrylic latexes were prepared through semicontinuous emulsion polymerization using 3 different polymerizable alkoxysilanes, i.e. vinyl tri silane (A172), Vinyl triethoxy silane and γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane (A174).
