Methodes: 72 cases of large hemorrhage caused by cirrhosis combined esophageal and fundal varices were divided into 2 groups randomLy during 2001.1-2003.12, treated by Somatostatin and Sengstaken-Blackmore Tube to observe the effect and the side action.

对2001年1月至2003年12月共收治的72例肝硬化并食道胃底静脉曲张破裂大出血患者随机分为两组，分别使用生长抑素和三腔二囊管压迫法治疗，观察两组的止血效果和副作用。

56例动脉性出血采用Seldinger氏法，经股动脉穿刺将导管选择插入可疑出血的动脉内先行DSA检查，明确诊断，再超选择插入出血动脉内注入栓塞材料，栓塞出血动脉。17例门静脉高压致食管胃底静脉曲张破裂出血，则采用经皮穿肝至门静脉主干行门静脉造影，明确出血部位，再超选择插管至出血静脉注入栓塞材料进行栓塞治疗。
