根据共和隧道砂质页岩的力学性质，运用相似理论，构筑不同倾角层状岩体的物理模型，研究了高应力条件下层状岩体围岩应力变化及变形破坏过程特征，确定了层状岩体在垂直于层面方向上围岩应力变化规律及破坏形态，揭示了深埋隧道层状岩体的破坏机理；物理模型实验研究得到的围岩应力变化规律及破坏特征与数值模拟分析的结果基本一致，同时也验证了横观各向同性弹塑性本构模型的正确性。

The discrete element method and the finite element method have their own advantages and weaknesses. Basically, the DEM was developed for predicting the failure problems accompanying with the transition from continuum to non-continuum media. However, it is not accurate to calculate the problem of continuum media. The FEM may forecast the failure area of the material reasonably, while it is hard to calculate the failure process in brittle media. Therefore it becomes a good choice to combine the two methods to construct a hybrid model.

Results The representation of the structures of ill ears on CTVE and its comparison with coronal and axial CT film and operation: In 24 purulent otitis media, CTVE had a coincidence of 91.7% with operation of handle of malleus, 95.8% of head of malleus,95.8% of long limb of incus ,100% of short limb of incus, 87.5% of limbs of stapes.

It was shown that the great variation of effective unit weight and angle of internal friction of soil could result in the increase of seepage failure probability of earth dams, the effect of variation of angle of internal friction of soil was greater, and the seepage failure probability of earth dams was sensitive to variability of dam seepage. In addition, the increase of water level in reservoir would also induce great increase of seepage failure probability of earth dams.

The microstructure of MDF and MDF tested were studied. The results showed that the fibers in MDF are arranged randomly. Some of them arranged separately, most of them arranged in bundles. There are many blind holes between the fiber cells in MDF. The damage of MDF's compressive creep is the result of new cranny occuring, spreading and the combination of old cranny. In the repressing process, besides the pressure, heat is also the main factor on the damage of MDF, which can accelerate the adhension layer to deteriorate and lead to the gule strength decreasing.

结果表明：MDF的纤维排列无规则，纤维排列形态除少量纤维呈单根状外，大量的纤维以纤维束的形态排列；纤维之间存在许多大小不等的孔洞，呈不贯通状；MDF蠕变损伤是不断萌生新的裂隙并扩展和合并原有裂隙的结果；MDF二次加工过程中，除了压力是破坏MDF结构的主要因素外，加热温度使MDF胶层老化，胶合强度下降，也是破坏MDF结构的主要因素；MDF的破坏形态除了有纤维拉断外，还有纤维拔出和胶粘剂脱落。

The experimental results show that: the failure mode of strengthened beam at elevated temperature can be classified as flexure failure mode or flexure-shear failure mode, and the failure mode of strengthened beam at high temperature may be different from that at room temperature; and although the load supported by the strengthened specimen is larger than that supported by the unstrengthened specimen, the fire resistance of the strengthened specimen is still larger than that of the unstrengthened specimen, due to the influence of fire insulation.

Test results show that (1) the failure modes of the strengthened beams at high temperature can be classified as a flexure failure mode and a flexure-shear one;(2) the flexure failure of the strengthened beams at room temperature may change at high temperature;(3) as compared with the unstrengthened beam, the strengthened beams with higher load are of stronger fire resistance due to the existence of fire coating; and (4) the increase of the strengthening ratio may result in the improvement of fire resistance and the change of failure mode.

结果表明：高温下该类构件的破坏形态大致可分为受弯破坏和弯剪破坏两类，常温下发生弯曲破坏的加固构件有可能在高温下出现破坏形态的转变；虽然加固构件所承受的荷载明显大于未加固构件，但由于防火涂料的保护，其耐火极限仍大于后者；碳纤维布加固量增加有可能导致加固构件的耐火极限延长，同时还可能涉及破坏形态的转变。
