A well-combined and durable TiO_2 thin film on silica glass fibers surface obtained by controlling the deposition temperature, deposition time, deposition cycles, concentration of the deposition solution, relative concentration of the deposition materials, pH value of the deposition solution. The effect of the deposition conditions, the drying conditions and the annealing treatment conditions on the surface morphology, section morphology, growth patterns, thickness of the deposited TiO_2 thin films were investigated. Growth rate and particle size of the thin films were controlled by the deposition conditions.
