In this context the wild mango germplasm at Lapuo County, Guangxi, China were studied by using their biological characteristics and the amplified fragments length polymorphism molecular marker. Siamensis Warbg. were divided into 14 groups and that the wild mangoes at Lapuo were close to M. sylvatica Roxb. and M. siamensis Warbg., but remained to fall in the middle of the cultivars and could not be separated from them.
