The goal of this paper is to present a PCA electric field algorithm for calculating the target headings, size/velocity rate and port/starboard location in relation to the electric sensor axis. This PCA algorithm is based on the simultaneous analysis of the three components （longitudinal, athwartship and vertical） of the electric signature in order to compare the time evolution of their waveforms as a way to determine the target parameters.

Weighted bargraph approach can detect target in broadband coherent interference and estimate its azimuth angle.

This thesis started from essential principles and methods of PE, then go for an overall analyzing original training system of XT Company including its active standards and methods. After the analysis, we raise several questions and go for an in-depth discussion. Then we put forward our suggestion that Standards of PE shall be made according to various positions and objectives and the employees who will be evaluated shall also have a voice in making the standards to improve its acceptability.
