This dissertation, based on (1) field investigations and observation along Jiangsu coastal environment (including: sea bottom and tidal flat sediment sampling, water depth, salinity, current velocity and direction, core drilling and so on);(2) integrative laboratory analyses of micropalaeontology, sedimentology and computer-processed mathematical statistics on over 300 samples and about 100 thousand foraminifera tests, try to find and formulize the relations between foraminiferal thanatocoenose and environment.

本文的写作基础是：通过野外进行的海岸环境调查和测量（主要调查项目有：水深、盐度，流速、流向、含沙量、底质采样、浅地层地震剖面仪探测、潮滩钻孔取样、潮滩探槽的挖掘与沉积物取样、观测等等）取得了环境参数和大量样品；在实验室运用微体古生物学、沉积学、数理统计与计算机分析相结合的方法，对所采集的现代表层沉积物和钻孔岩芯样品共计三百多个进行了分析研究，鉴定统计有孔虫标本十万余枚，研究有孔虫埋葬群特征与环境参数之间的定性-定量关系。

It showed that in conditions of water temperature 20～21℃,salinity 20～30,pH 8.0～8.3,the fertilized eggs developed to 2-cell in about 2h,blastula stage in about 15h,gastrula stage 30h and the hatched out larva 152h after fertilization.

其结果表明：在水温20-21℃、盐度20-30、pH值8.0-8.3的条件下，受精卵受精后2h为2细胞期、15h为囊胚期、30h为原肠期、55h为胚体期、152h孵出仔鱼

Associated minerals are primary glauberite, halite and terrigenous mud; while calcite is absent or rare. The X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the mud-sized crystalline dolostone has an average CaCO3 mole content of 57.30% and an average degree of order of 0.40, revealing the characteristics of higher calcium content and lower degree of order. It is closely intergrown with glauberite, indicating that the aqueous medium in the depositional environment of mud-sized crystallinedolostone was hypersaline water or dilute brine. The temperature of water in the depositional environment calculated according to the oxygen isotope data averaged 30.5℃ and the minimum homogenization temperature of inclusions in primary glauberite crystals associated with mud-sized crystalline dolomite was 44℃. The two groups of temperature data are close, indicating that the temperature of the water in the paleolake environment during the deposition of mud-sized crystalline dolostone ranged from 30.5℃ to 44℃.

泥晶白云石在阴极发光下呈红色、橙红色，与其伴生的矿物除原生钙芒硝、石盐、陆源泥质外，方解石没有或极少；X衍射分析结果表明，泥晶白云石的CaCO3摩尔含量平均为57.30%，有序度平均为0.40，具高富钙、低有序的特征；与钙芒硝岩的紧密共生，说明泥晶白云岩沉积环境的水介质为高盐度的咸水或淡卤水；根据氧同位素数据计算的沉积环境的水体温度平均为30.5℃，与泥晶白云石伴生的原生钙芒硝晶体中的包裹体均－温度最低值为44℃，这两组温度数据基本接近，表明泥晶白云石沉淀时环境水体的温度大致在30.5-44℃之间。

Taking for example the salt rhythms of the Qianjiang Formation in the Qianjiang Sag of the Jianghan Basin (which is a typical Paleogene saline lacustrine basin in eastern China), through a detailed study on cores, the authors have determined for the first time the Ⅳ-order salt rhythm based on Ⅰ-,Ⅱ-and Ⅲ-order salt rhythms which were determined previously and got to know that the sedimentary process following the sequence of desalinizing→salinizing and crystallization of salt minerals from halite rock→(mud-bearing) glauberite rock→dolomite-bearing mudstone (mud-bearing doloston)→mudstone→doloston→glauberite rock→halite rock. The authors also analyzed the Ⅳ-order salt rhythm and the correspondence between its sedimentary records and the fluctuation of the palaeosalinity of waters and the short-scale (0.05~1.0 ka duration) change of dry-moist palaeoclimate.

本文以我国东部独具特色的古近纪古盐湖盆地－江汉盆地的潜江凹陷潜江组盐韵律为例，通过对王平1、王云10-6、王80-2等3口井连续取心段的精细研究，在前人划分Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ级盐韵律的基础上，首次划分出组成含盐层系基础韵律单元－Ⅳ级盐韵律，弄清了它的沉积过程基本遵循从石盐岩→钙芒硝岩→含白云石泥岩→泥岩→白云岩→钙芒硝岩→石盐岩的淡化－咸化序列和盐类矿物的析出顺序；解析了Ⅳ级盐韵律及其沉积组合记录与水体古盐度波动和短尺度(0.05~1.0 ka)古气候干湿变化之间的对应关系。
