To approach its" mechanism of action, we carded out this experiment. The SD rats were objects in this experiment. We gave a mark of the neurologic impairment in rat and detected the contents of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y in rats" cornu ammonis and brain mantle respectively by electro-acupuncture on shuigou(DU 26) acupoint. In this way, we are trying to explore the mechanism of acupuncture therapy in cerebral ischemia.
