The change of GR plays an impor trant role in low suppressive effect of PLA2.There was a negative correlation between PLA2 and GR from early stage to 72 hours after injury. The suppressive effect of glucocorticoid to PLA2 is relative to GR.

Methods Five hundred and fourteen liver transplantation patients were enrolled from March 2001 to February 2007 in Zhongshan Hospital, among them 324 patients were analyzed, including 263 men and 61 women, aging from 3 to 81 years old （mean age 48.9 years）, with excluding patients with uncomplete data or history of using glucocorticoid.
