The tumor cell lines were HepG2 and HL60. Results The extracts of Livistona chinesis induced significant growth arrested in two malignant tumor cell lines which cultured in vitro.

结果 蒲葵子提取物的各萃取部位在体外对肝癌细胞HepG2和白血病细胞HL60有明显的抑制作用，正丁醇部位的半数抑制率分别为7.94和10.72，效果最为显著。

IC50 of these cells exposed to the extracts from N-butanol for 48 hours approach 7.94% and 10.72%. Conclusion The N-butanol extracts of Livistona chinesis had obvious anti-tumor activity in vitro.
