HPV infection can arouse the cleavage and proliferation of cholesteatoma epithelium and may play certain role in the occurrence and development of middle ear cholesteatoma. Aggressive, papillomatous growth and koilocytes can be served as the initial proof of HPV infection in cholesteatoma of the middle ear.

MethodsThe transplanted tumor model of the mouse S180 sarcoma was established.Fifty mice were randomly divided into five groups,the control group,the CTX group,the Gecko group.They were treated respectively with oral administration of saline,and intraperitoneal injection of CTX 100 mg/kg only one time,oral administration of Gecko in doses of 13.5,9,4.5 g/kg,one time a day.After 14 days,the anti-tumor activity was evaluated by tumor tissue weighing. The impact on immune organ was detected by accounting thymus index, spleen index and the number of peritoneal macrophage which phagocytose chicken red blood cells.The protein express of vascular endothelin growth factor and basic fibroblast growth factor were detected by SABC immunohistochemistry.

方法建立移植瘤小鼠S180肉瘤模型，将50只雌鼠随机分为对照组、环磷酰胺组、壁虎高组、中组、低组共5组，分别给于生理盐水灌胃1次/d，CTX（100 mg/kg）腹腔注射1次，壁虎高、中、低组（13.5，9，4.5 g/kg），每天灌胃1次。14 d后，称取荷瘤小鼠瘤重、胸腺重、脾脏重，计算抑瘤率、胸腺指数、脾脏指数，观察腹腔巨噬细胞吞噬鸡血红细胞实验指标；用SABC免疫组化法检测血管内皮生长因子、碱性成纤维细胞生长因子的蛋白表达，TUNEL方法检测细胞凋亡率。

Methods Twenty-four cases with non-pituitary lesions in sphenoidal sinus and sellar area were analyzed . Eighteen cases were benign, including 7 sphenoidal sinus cyst, 6 craniopharyngioma, 2 chordoma, 1 nasal polyp extending into the sella,1 neuronoma in sella,and 1 pinealoma.

总结分析24例蝶窦鞍区非垂体源性占位性病变，其中良性18例，包括蝶窦囊肿7例、颅咽管瘤6例、脊索瘤2例，鼻息肉伴鼻硬结杆菌感染侵犯蝶窦鞍区、蝶鞍神经鞘瘤、鞍内异位松果体瘤各1例。

Methods At first, retrovirus vectors encoding IFN-γ or IL-4 gene were constructed. They were transfected into PA317 packaging cells by lipofectamine, PA317IFN-γ and PA317IL-4 cells were obtained. C6 glioma cells were infected with replication deficiency retrovius containing IFN-γ or IL-4 gene, cell morphology、cell growth curve and cloning efficiency assay were examined. The intracranial C6 glioma animal model was established in immunocompetent Wistar rats. PA317IFN-γ and PA317IL-4 cells were stereotactically implanted into the tumor areas alone or together. The survival of tumor bearing rats were examined, tumor volumes were measured and immunohistochemical analyses of CD4〓 and CD8〓 T lymphocyte infiltration were performed.

构建和鉴定携带IL-4或IFN-γ基因的逆转录病毒载体，将其导入逆转录病毒包装细胞PA317，通过G418抗性筛选，得到携带目的基因的包装细胞并鉴定；应用携带IL-4或IFN-γ基因的复制缺陷型逆转录病毒感染C6胶质瘤细胞，观察对C6胶质瘤细胞形态、细胞生长曲线和克隆形成率的影响；建立C6胶质瘤大鼠脑内移植动物模型，将携带IL-4和IFN-γ基因的逆转录病毒包装细胞分别或联合注射到脑内荷瘤大鼠的肿瘤组织中，观察其治疗作用，并初步探讨其机制。

RESULTS: Tumor removal, as assessed by postoperative magnetic resonance imaging, revealed complete removal of the lesion in four out of seven pituitary adenomas, five out of seven craniopharyngiomas, three out of three Rathke's cleft cysts, and two out of two tuberculum sellae meningiomas.

结果：用术后磁共振来评估肿瘤的切除程度，7例垂体腺瘤全切除4例，7例颅咽管瘤全切除5例，3例Rathke囊肿和2例脑膜瘤均全切除。1例颅咽管瘤（5％）发生术后脑脊液漏需再手术修补，该患者亦发生蝶窦霉菌感染，予药物治疗。

The series consisted of seven pituitary adenomas, seven craniopharyngiomas, three suprasellar Rathke's cleft cysts, two tuberculum sellae meningiomas, and one pilocytic astrocytoma of the chiasm.

自2004年1月至2005年12月，应用内窥镜下扩大经鼻蝶入路手术治疗20例连续病例，共手术21次，包括7例垂体腺瘤，7例颅咽管瘤，3例鞍上Rathke囊肿，2例鞍结节脑膜瘤和1例视交叉纤维型星形细胞瘤。
